Dwarf orchids and finger cactus in a semi water culture

These days got some weird ideas. Here are some of my plant collections I am using magnifying glass to enlarge my mini variegated dwarf orchids.

I found it very interesting collecting these miniature plants. They are easy to handle and doesn't require soil as a medium

Bought some other 6"inches dendrobium orchids. I didn't bother  to know the specific names. I am after of how to bloom. I search the internet on how to care these epiphytes. I became so addicted and couldn't help but buy. However,

dendrobium

These are my newly cut finger cactus. They seem to love the  semi water culture. I have decided to grow them in water since I love to see the roots and clean.
How: 1  remove almost finger sized cactus from its mother. Leave it for a week under a bright light.
           2. prepare your medium small water put some pebbles or jelly balls then place the cactus over.
           3. after a week there must be tiny white roots coming out from the bottom of the cactus..
